BUILT FOR GIRLS AND WOMEN
West Sound Soccer Academy empowers, educates, and supports girls who play soccer and women who coach in communities west of Puget Sound: Bainbridge Island, Suquamish, Kingston, Poulsbo, the Kitsap Peninsula, and beyond.
Our youth soccer programs are purpose built by women for girls. And, our holistic approach goes beyond the field- we’ve partnered with local businesses and professionals to include strength & conditioning, yoga, injury prevention, and mental skills in our team program.
Where Girls Thrive
The benefits of girls playing sports are well documented. But, by age 14, girls drop out of sports at twice the rate of boys (learn more). There are a variety of contributing factors, including lack of access, safety concerns, social stigma, decreased quality of experience, cost, and lack of positive role models.
As a women-led organization that puts girls first, we are uniquely positioned to honor, celebrate, and champion girls in their development, on and off the field. At West Sound Soccer Academy, girls are inspired to keep playing soccer and set up to thrive.
